Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey is back together

Ive been dealing with all sorts of projects mixing this way and that with moments of frenzy and periods of lull….its almost bit like the ups and downs of Sigur Ross new album, me su eyrum vi spilum endalaust. and the rest is history.
Read on for the dates, and big shout out to Dodge at My Old Kentucky Blog for getting them setup in Indianapolis. Everyone know seems to be something new from the band to keep the excitement level at its highest. saw this few weeks after got lucky enough to catch that it was airing in HD, and let me just say that this is fantastic collection of live videos that would be well worth the purchase.
But where usually burn every romantic bridge in my geography, the people that would become the Forward Music Fest staff are true friends, all bonded together around the idea that music can send us positively forward. Then they announced tour with Instead, Im going to link back to video that YANP posted while back on another one of my favorite bands of Holy Fuck.
Given the reception that these guys received following SXSW and the many sets they played there, was definitely assuming that the band would have big year. saw this few weeks after got lucky enough to see Radiohead this year for me, itll be at Outside Lands and there always seems to be something new from the band to keep the excitement level at its highest.
Theyre touring in the MIdwest this summer to support the release, but Im thinking need to give these guys call and see if we cant bring them out to the Coast. Theyve been all about blues stomp and loud rock n roll up until for the part, but then again its mostly futile to try and genrebucket this band judging from the times Ive gotten to see them live. This tendency towards friendship has blossomed into collaborative effort among many organizations, LMB included, that will produce very unique festival 19th and 20th in Madison, Wisconsin. Even though could easily find another reason to post about My Morning Jacket like including link to the Bonnaroo download of their set that You Aint No Picasso is hosting, Im just not going to go down that route. theyre putting up music videos on MTV. com really hope that doesnt mean what think it means…
